Insulin Resistant

I am so insulin resistant and I take mega amounts of insulin in shots daily but still can't control the blood sugars. I have tried not eating carbs but it it hard to stay with. Any sugestions?

Hello, this is definitely something you need to see a doctor about! Do you have a Diabetes or Primary Care physician? I am a Type 1 Diabetic and have been since I was 4 months old so I definitely know what you are experiencing. A couple of years ago, I was becoming resistant to the Insulin I was taking, so my doctor added Metformin to my Insulin regimen and it has helped immensely. This may be a idea that you and doctor can discuss. Let us know how this progresses

When it comes to diabetes, the quality of your question determines the quality of answers. With the details you've provided, either you lack fundamental diabetes education and training or you don't really care what answers you get. Not sure which is the case so I'll say...
