Gastric Sleeve Surgery

losttummy posted:
I had gastric sleeve surgery on 2/21/13 and I am about 3 wks out. I have had great success, with little complaints. First of all, I had very little pain with my surgery. One of my complications after 2 days was dehydration, I couldn't seem to get enough water. I love water and always drank it by the glass full, which is impossibe now. Sipping is hard and I still don't have it accomplished. I have followed the diet faithfully and do good most of the time. Some foods make me feel like I have a big lump in my stomach and I hate that. So I avoid that kind of food. I still miss eating and swallowing spoonfuls of food, but that will come with time. I have lost about 28 lbs. and I am exercising everyday. Staying true to the diet and me.
