Stop eating refined sugars. If you need sweeteners then use whole natural ones... stevia, natural unsweetened fruit juices, honey, molassas, agave, etc.

Don't drink ANY sodas, not even diet ones

Stop using artificially sweetened "flavorings" in your water

Fill up on foods rich in lean protein and fiber, if you have a carb with your meal, make it 1/2 c or less of it as a "compliment to" your meal instead of the MAIN INGREDIENT

the less you eat of them, the less you'll crave them

Totally agree TotallyWiggedOut!

Retrain your taste buds! Get all those super sweet things out of your home, cabinets, fridge, etc...and stock up on apples, dates, cantaloupe and other melons, etc. Maur1216, you know your taste buds are retrained when an apple tastes super sweet, and a couple of dates are super yummy with a few nuts stuffed in them.
