    Of course any food has the potential to wreck your diet, if you eat so much of it that it pushes your calories over the limit!

    Nuts can be "dangerous" in that they are really high in calories, despite being very healthy, so one has to take care to eat just a measured amount. They're definitely not a food fraud as they have many good nutrients, but their calories can turn your diet into a fraud...

    I like pistachicos for just that reason. It takes work to eat them so I don't scarf down as many!
