    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Great Way to Learn How to Swim

Spring is around the corner and I've run into lots of people who want to learn how to swim both indoors and outdoors in open water. Swimming is a terrific cross training activity that's fun and can be shared with friends and family. Also, as people age and accumulate physical injuries, swimming is a safe and effective way to stay active while rehabilitating. It's surprising how many people either never learned how to swim or don't know how to swim well. I'm training for the Iron Girl triathlon this year and came across this terrific program used by beginners and advanced swimmers alike. There are helpful DVD's, a great book and practical workshops held around the country to help get people into the water to stay fit and healthy. I highly recommend the program.
