Just wanted to let you know about an exercise program that I found out about in my late 30's...Horizontal Conditioning (www.fuelplusfitness.com). It mainly uses body weight to create lean muscles without bulk. It is not easy, but the results are amazing when done consistently. The key to gaining muscle is overload...challenging your body, and Horizontal Conditioning definitely does that. I have been doing it now for about 5 years. I have had two children and am now 45 years old and have more definition on my body than ever before. I have abdominal muscles that I did not even know existed! The workouts can be done in your home and only take about 20 minutes three times per week. I do it three times per week and do cardio three times per week. I have never felt or looked this good. Check it out

Hey there and thanks for your posting. One of the most convenient ways to make certain that you get that strength conditioning in is to simply use your own body weight. Doubt me? Put your back against a wall and then pull yourself down into a sitting position (just no chair!). You're now doing a wall squat. Great for your quads and your core.

It's fun to mix up your routines and integrating some body weight workouts is terrific. Great tip!
