So true!! Just this week, I started keeping a "Food Diary" What a shocker! I may have been eating healthy, but too many snacks & after dinner snackings were out of control! Some days I had 800 calories just in my evening snacks! Plus, I quit smoking Jan 4, so I tend to want to snack alot on hard candies--they added up calories fast! Now, writing down food I've eaten makes me more aware & accountable for what I put into my mouth! It was an eye opener!

Where do I find Web MD's Food and Fitness planner tool? I am new to this site and just joined today, so I can use all the help and advise I can get. I really want to lose 20 lbs to start as my clothes are so uncomfortable right now. I gained about 20 pounds when I took an anti-depressant and now that I'm off the drug I want to concentrate on losing this excess weight.

Oh, by the way, do you have to write down any certain things in your food diary, like when and where you eat and how you are feeling?
