    Hey I have lost 4 more pounds since my last post and I am feeling pretty good. Yesterday my son and I played volleyball and it was awesome!! I had so much energy. I would love to know some of the great and fun ways you guys and your kids like to have fun and gain some energy in the process.

    Yay! Congratulations on making such a positive start!

    Once I started exercising, it became self-rewarding because I felt stronger and more competent. I took on things I hadn't been willing to try before.

    I started playing badminton and croquet with the kids, but now they're both out of the house (One in college and one finished). For myself (and my dogs and horses) I do a lot of walking. In the past I've done swimming, horseback riding, bikes, and hiking with the kids.

    Hopefully the others will have more suggestions for you,

    Pounds off since December 2009= 35lbs. At this rate, it will be years until I reach goal, so I hope you don't mind having me around for a spell.

    WTG!

    Sorry don't have kids but we often play running the bases with our nieces and nephews or frisbee. We also play badminton. When there is access to a pool and if outdoor, the weather right, swimming is always the first choice.
