Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

    I just read your story and all I can say is WOW! First off, I am glad that you are still with us today after your terrible car accident! Secondly, congratulations for overcoming your paralysis! I believe that if you have the strength to overcome that, to walk when told you may never be able to again ... then you have the strength to lose weight too! It is a long, hard road. It takes commitment and self-discipline, but I have confidence in you - I can see that you have a fire in you and you are a fighter!

    I have faith that you can do it! Good luck on your journey!

    Welcome! I, too read your story. Thanks for taking the time to write and share it. What you said about taking your life back....that sounds like the right plan, after all that you have gone through.

    Got to say, you ARE a fighter. You said though, you never ate right. Now IS the time to learn how to do healthy eating. You say you have a boyfriend, how are his eating habits? You must make your change to healthy eating a priority...NO matter what!! I have been around "food pushers", all sorts of reasons to go off my healthy eating plan. Sometimes I did go off it but I got back on it, due to the support I get here.

    I really think the motivation grows stronger the longer you stay with healthy eating and exercise. I hope you get ideas from the others here. Remember the small changes, like eating more fresh or frozen veggies, drinking 64 ozs. of water and walking more do add up.

    I post because it keeps me focused to do what I need to do.
