Long shifts, many temptations

I work 12hr shifts for 2-3days at a time. I always go in there with the best intentions. A lunchbag full of healthy food and my gym bag. Now eeveryday I run 2-3 miles (working my way up). The issue seems to bbe when someone brings in cake, pizza, or some other tempting deliciousness. It leaves me feeling like i wasted my time running. When I'm at home I dont have this issue. Any tips?

I just try to eat a small portion when I just can't say no. But there are times when I do turn it down. When I do decide to have a small portion, what I do is eat my healthy food first so that I feel a little full (like eating a peice of fruit or a yogurt) then i don't feel a need to have more than one peice of pizza or more then a small peice of cake, etc. I know it is very difficult when it's free food. They do it where I work now but it was worse when I worked in the school system. Good luck to you.
