Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

    I'm one of those yo-yo's and hate that I'm that way, but here I am working every day to deal with it. Some things that have worked for me (when I finally got "in the groove" and was finally dedicated and committed) is to wrench my focus/obsession on food to obsessing on my thinness. I'm going to obsess on SOMETHING so I need to make it work FOR me instead of AGAINST me. I'm down 16 pounds now and my clothes are loose and that encourages me. I turn off all thoughts of food and I'm walking every day. What seems so easy for me to do right now has been a nightmare in the past. It's so hard for me to turn on the commitment and determination but when it happens it makes the process of losing weight so much easier. I wish I knew how to just make it happen but I don't. I wish for the battle of the bulge to get easier for all of us. I need encouragement and if you do too, post me and we can trade ideas and thoughts.
