I've always loved nuts but my problem was seriously over snacking on them in the evening in my "man-cave", where my wife couldn't see me. Was it stress eating? Whatever it doesn't matter.

To make matters worse, a fews years ago I discovered a store in our neighbourhood "The Nut House" that sells just delicious and fresh roasted (ah so good when they were still warm) nuts of all kinds (Cashew, almonds, peanuts etc) and I became on of there regulars. I'm sure that's why my body started to look like a squirrel's in late fall.

My resolution is not go in that store this year. I'll still have the occaisional few nuts but no more binge nut eating like a squirrel.
