"It Starts With Food" and the Whole30 Diet?

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to post about this to see if I could find someone who has done this diet and to get some feedback. There is this diet that my friend did called the "Whole30". It is based off of a book called "It Starts With Food". They seem to stress that the purpose of the diet is not to lose weight (although you will), but to restart your system. A friend of mine did the full 30 days and she said it was the best thing she has ever done. It's basically a Paleo diet, but it's really strict. No dairy, no legumes, no carbs, and you need to avoid night shade vegetables. Has anyone else ever done this diet and what did you think???
