    The holiday season has arrived with its office parties, festive family meals, and time-crunch dashes through the drive-thru. The holiday season most likely brought more than just pretty lights and time spent with family. You added some pounds. You may have managed to maintain your weight, when you really wanted to lose weight before the New Year's Eve party. It may be too late to hit your goal weight before this New Year's Eve, but count on us for 2009. WebMD has planned a year of WebMD Health Challenges. Each month will feature a mini-challenge with a weekly weigh-in, tips to keep you on track and the support and encouragement of our Diet Clubs and MORE. I can't tell you quite everything in store for 2009 yet...but I know you will love it. Keep an eye out! Look for more of everything while you lose those extra pounds and build healthy habits to last you a lifetime. The first challenge starts January 5. That gives you time to finish cleaning the pantry after the holiday festivities and still gives you time to lose 10 lbs safely before Valentine's Day! Who is in? Have you set your weight loss/healthy lifestyle goals for 2009 yet?

    Hi Louise, Sounds great! I'm in. :smile: In the interim, this next week, I'm challenging myself to shed 1 more lb before we leave for our Christmas Holiday with family...I think I can do it... Okay: got my calendar marked for Jan 5th for the first new challenge.:cool:

    Oooh I'm in. Hit 200lbs two years ago.. lost 50 of it the year after.. then got pregnant.. went back up to 189. Now 2 months later am down to 172lbs.. and have 52lbs I want to loose this year. Am aiming to loose it by June (October at the latest) and keep it off after that

    I am all for it! I started this same week last year and lost 34#. I managed to keep off 24#, I want to lose the10 I gained back plus another 35. I am glad I found this site, I think it will be a helpful tool! :light smile:

    I'm in :grin: I think this might be just what I need to lose the rest of the weight that I want to. I've lost about 50 pounds and have at least another 50 I would like to lose. Kinda fell off the wagon so to speak but I am working on getting back on track.
