Some one told me a long time ago that if you brush your teeth after you finish eating for the day, it stops you from eating anymore. Since your mouth is nice and clean and fresh it stops you from eating at night.

I've heard something similar. If you struggle with the munchies, have a strong mint like an altoid or a listerine strip. It'll ruin the taste of anything that you put in your mouth, thus lessening the urge to munch!
