Back to the gym for me today .. haven't been able to go lately because of the excessive build up in my lungs .. makes it kinda hard to work out .

Stopped by the Y yesterday and set up an appointment with a trainer to go through the equipment with me and show me proper use and how to get the most from my workout. This will help when I get back to my 5:30 a.m. routine on Monday morning.

They have a computer in the lobby that you can use to help log all your workouts and track your progress.

Can't wait .. I am so excited and committed to this journey!

Glad you have such enthusiasm about returning to the gym. I, too, belong to the Y and love it! The social aspect of it really helps. Hubby and I are planning on moving within the next year and one of our top priorities is being within 6-8 minute drive from a gym. Honestly. It's a lot easier to replace a kitchen or bathroom than it is our bodies!

Going to the gym gives me the power to keep my eating on track and also gives me energy to start my day.
Like you, I go in the morning, not quite so early, but before I go to work.
