crazy week!

Phew! Huge breath...long time, no see!

I'm still hanging around. Trying to catch up on reading all the posts. It's been a crazy week around here, with lots of exciting stuff going on.

As of yesterday, I am officially "retired". My last daycare child went off to preschool and I've chosen not to replace any. It's just me and my boys now! I'd like to say I'll be around here more often now, but the truth is, I probably won't! I have so many plans with my new-found freedom. I'm afraid I'll be even busier now that I'm not working

My step-daughter begins her senior year in a couple of weeks, my step-son begins junior high, and my little boys and I will begin home pre-school.

My husband also got an offer for a new job this week. It will involve a commute for him, but the trade off in sales and benefits will be worth it. So lots of adjusting there, too.

My Run for God class is spectacular! It's growing every week; last week's roster was 68 people! 68!!! I cannot believe I'm a part of something so big. I can see outstanding things coming from this class, for the students and for me.

I don't often have time to respond to many posts because I peek in on my phone and it's hard to type on. But know that I'm reading and keeping track of everyone!

Good luck with all the changes happening. Once everyone is on track with their new routines you should feel more settled. But yes, you will be busy and find that time flies when you're not working.

Keep eating lots of healthy and nutritious food - you'll need it for energy!

It sounds like your whole life has changed since your successful weightloss. Wonderful advancements and it sounds like you are very happy with everything going on. Congrats on your "retirement" , on your ever enlarging running class and on what sounds like a better position for your husband.
Glad you are still watching over us, be good to yourself, and check in when you can grab a min just to let us know how its all going for you.

I heartily concur with all the previous posts. You offer much inspiration to this board. Your "retirement (not!) sounds extremely busy and very productive. We know that being a mom and running a household is the most important job EVER. Sounds like you are very good at this (job), too.

Best to you and your family in all the new adventures.

Me too. I actually had to blow up Amber's photo to make sure she didn't cheat and photoshop or cut and paste someone else in there, lol
Crazy Baby! Great new look for you Amber!

Kim, This is the kind of thing (about Amber looking so Hot) that makes me realize when you see someone on the street and think "boy that must come easy to them"...you just never know how hard they worked to get what they have.

Are you sure it wasn't photoshopped? LOL

Thanks guys! Nope it's me just me. The only artificial thing on me is makeup. My hair and eyes are all natural. My lips are natural too. I get ask those questions if I'm real or not all the time. I just look at as I take really good care of myself and have a great attitude.
