Hello all! I was here last year attempting to get support to lose excess weight. I've lost but not enough so decided to use this site's tracker to get a better handle on my eating.

It's great to see names of you who were here before and especially those who have been so successful. Thanks for being here...

Hi Sally welcome back you might need to realize it is permanent changes you need to make in the way you shop cook eat and exercise...
the darn diets do work but who can stay on them for any length of time ..
better to make changes you can live with forever ..
congrats on the 37 pounds lost so far you are doing great

Hi Sally. Welcome back.
Your 37 lb loss is gone but not forgotten. You will always remember what those extra lbs made you feel like in your clothes, made you look like standing naked in front of a mirror, made it uncomfortable to sit is chairs or seats at the movies or on planes or on amusement rides. Now, picture what the NEXT 20lb loss will look like on you, will DO for you.
You can do anything you set your focus onto. Anything you want and are willing to work for.
Remember, you can't lose weight well and healthfully just by cutting calories. Diet and EXERCISE go hand in hand. Reduce a little here, and do a little more there. Every little bit of a change is good and will net results.
Have confidence in your ability to take charge of your own life.

Changed my siggy....because it was misleading. I've actually lost 21 lbs in 2012 and have 20 to lose.

Good advice, Kim. I've been at this weight loss venture for so long. Thyroid is an issue but I'm dealing with it. I wish I could do more exercise. Walking is about it. Aging brought on RA and heart issues so I have to monitor my own activities. Working at it, though!

Welcome back. You have apparently done something right you've lost 37lbs. You can lose 37lbs more.
