    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? So today is my sons 1st birthday. Things are just all bittersweet. It's so crazy to think that I'm even a mommy, and especially a wonder to be a mommy of such an amazing little boy.
So as per my goal to be 160 on his birthday, today I weighed in at 154.6. I am so happy and I am going to continue to lose weight. I love wearing clothes that I never dreamed I'd fit back into. I can't remember the last time I wore size 10 jeans, and now I can fit in them easily.
    I truly am blessed. I

You look really good Trista. Flat out, you're a very pretty young woman. I'm sure your husband and the rest of your family are just so proud of you and your weightloss thus far , and I'm sure that running around after your son is way easier than it would've been if you'd stayed at your heavier weight.
You are truly blessed to have a beautiful family. Enjoy!

I had my hair blonde in March. I had wanted to try that color forever. I liked it until the roots started growing back. I decided not to deal with that hassle. I don't mind my brunette shades and am really hoping to get back to my natural color.
    And thank you!

My parents are really proud that I took the steps to get healthy. I have been struggling since I hit 15-16 years old. And they think it's great that I've now had the motivation to get to a good weight.
My husband is happy that I'm healthy, but states that he didn't really think of me as looking ugly or fat when I was heavier. So maybe that's a good thing? I know he just doesn't want to admit that I'm looking better now.
And thank you so much for the encouragement!
