Lots of times I feel like I've lost a good , close friend when people go AWOL for too long. I think that you, Debbie and Barb are right, that we tend to get very close here, simply out of necessity, for the support and comraderie that comes from all being in or coming from the same boat.
I do hope that everyone is doing ok. That Tomato pulls through her trials and tribulations and has gotten a better life started. That Helene's upstairs "neighbor" is doing well enough not to have to be depending on her so much so Helene can concentrate on her OWN stuff, lol.... That Pi is staying active and maintaining well... that Lorrie is doing well in FL and is still trying to do her best with her journey, and that Emmett is trying to be a "happy" clown, lol.
Still haven't heard if Marybeth's nerves in her hand are doing better, hope so...
And am wondering how NormaJ's new job is going.

I was really lucky to find this board in 2010. I read posts and fell into line with posting. Got rid of the weight and still come here.
I'm not sure what is going on with the board buddies these days. I do know I will continue my journey with or without this board. I will always have a grateful and warm place in my heart for the support and tips I got here.
I think it gets a bit draining to post and not see the receiver continue the thread. I don't mean just a response back to me but to the general discussions, etc..
Have any "special" plans for your birthday?
DH and I are going to a Valentine's dance (oh, that's a surprise) LOL

Well , it's been a pretty busy today, mostly food oriented too, lol. IHop for brunch and a sushi place called RAWZ for supper. But really nice anyhow. I'll pay for today for the next week but I wouldn't have traded it for anything.
Everybody got together today to get me a Samsung galaxy Tab2 7.0 as a gift. Terrible expensive for something I really just wanted for ereading, but they wanted me to have all the "bells and whistles" too, so it's more like a handheld laptop, or huge smartphone... take your pick, lol
anyhooo. since it's way smarter than me, I'm letting michael and cody set it up, figure it out and then hand it back to me....
