    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

Walked a mile and a 1/2 today. Wish I could walk faster but my hip and knee on the left side just won't allow it. Was thinking about getting a cane and walking with it as maybe it would help me out to stabalize my left side.

Wow, that's great! More than I could do. Someone recently suggested I try to get walking sticks or a cane because I have back problems (due to my weight), so I'm going to look into it. I'm hoping walking sticks aren't too exepensive because I would rather be seen walking with "sticks" than an actual "cane," but I will do whatever I need to so that I can walk some more. I know that's a great all-around exercise.

Take a look at these. I'm not saying this is the right price, but for the pair, it's not too bad.
