Considering Lap Band

I am 6'3" and weigh 320 LBs. I am 63 years old and am seriously considering Lap Band surgery. I've tried everything but to no avail. I have Diabetes, Cholesterol, and high BP. I just want to feel better.

One of our members just went through surgery,

Hi Have you tried to change your eating habits to healthier choices? it sure beats starving on a diet
being diabetic you should be on a vegie and protein plan of some kind eliminating all sugars and starches, It helps to stay away from processed foods too ... eat as close to nature as you can this works .

Welcome Compuro! I'm curious if you have discussed this with your doctor. If so, what is her recommendation? That's where I'd start and then I'd do lots of research about success rates, lifestyle changes, vitamins required, etc., etc. Good luck with whatever you decide.
