    Good morning, health seekers!

The scale finally moved down today 222.4. I have discarded .4 pounds in 11 days, but I am not discouraged by that. At that rate I would still lose 13 pounds a year which is solid progress. What I am a little concerned about it the degree to which I am hungry, really hungry every day. It's going to be really hard to stick with this nutitional transformation if I don't start to see improvement there.

    Breakfast:
    .5 c rolled oats
    .5 c. apple chopped
    .25 c. skim milk
cup of hot green tea, unsweetened

After I post this, I will head to the gym to ride the bike for 30 min. as my ankle hurts from the treadmill yesterday.

Grats Laura, it's starting to pay off, eh? I'm so glad for you.
keep up the good work. You're gonna see the light at the end of the tunnel before me if you keep it up.

Sharon, grats on your slow and steady. You'll win this race yet.

WOW Rachael, just a little more to your first set goal! You are doing just great. Sorry your ankle hurts, take care.

Mardee, too much fat there hon. That breakfast alone probably set you back 3 days worth with all that sausage.
The best thing that McDonalds serves is their reg Egg McMuffin (the one with canadian bacon. Order without cheese and you cut over 100 calories yet, still) Skip the breakfast burrito and get the yogurt parfait with your Mcmuffin and you are on much better ground going into the day. It's more protein, and way less fats and carbs so it will keep you fuller longer while being healthier .
