    The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

    YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE out there.....
    This is an easy, light, beginners chair yoga vid. In just under 5 min it shows some easy steps for chair stretches and movement that will BURN CALORIES and GET YOU MOVING without hurting you.
    Follow the basic steps, do them repeatedly to music...
    Drag a chair OUTSIDE and do them IN THE SUN for added fun and some much needed outdoor time.
    WHATEVER you need to do to get out of the house and be PROACTIVE about getting healthier and LIGHTER in body and spirit.

    this isn't an advertisement . I only googled Light Chair exercises UTUBE and this was one that came up and somehow seems "right" for sharing.

    Some of these vids are "for the elderly" but they are STILL EXERCISE and if you are just starting out, VERY heavy or have physical limitation, these are very good to start with

    It's a slower video but has some good exercises to strengthen knees , hips and Core.... particularly necessary exercises for resisting falling or walking with improper gait.

    If you don't want to buy bands for these, tie a cheapy pair of panty hose legs together and use those.
