Good morning Rachel!

Way to go bringing things back in line.

Last night I had a terrible night's sleep. My right arm was hurting so badly that I woke repeatedly. I no longer think this pain is related to my benign tumor. My mom is seriously alarmed because we have a family history of DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis). Daddy died from it and brother was in intensive care with it just recently. Diabetes ups the risk..But I've never heard of it starting in the arm. Will call doc when she opens in 30 min.

Forgot to weigh in this AM. Is some subconscious thing going on there?

breakfast
2 small sausage patties
.5 C rolled oats
.75 C blackberries
.5 t cinnamon.'

I will not walk unless my arm feels better.

Smoochies!

Thank goodness you're not going to walk and you're going to the doctor! I mean you needed to be evac'd from your walk yesterday. Give yourself a break Sharon and talk to the doc about what's going on. You will still be slim and lovely in time if you give yourself time to recover, Miss Schmoochies. xx

Good morning, Rachael and Sharon. Good job getting back on plan this morning, Rachael. Sharon, let us know what the doctor says.

Morning weight: 151

Breakfast: Whole wheat wrap with 2 thin slices deli roast beef, 1 med. orange

Don't know what the rest of the day holds with food. I took the day off and am going to my best friends for a slumber party! Food and drink will be not good, but it will be worth it. Oh the fun my friends of 30 years and I will have!!

Finally out of 207! What a waste of a month this has been! I went from 203 to 207 in 2 days and then just couldn't get moving again except up, not down. Thinking about what to eat, maybe the same as yesterday since it seemed to be the right amount.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. The news is good. No clot. However, a demon I thought I had eluded 5 years ago has appeared. My arm problem is lyphedema. A buildup of fluid in the arm which had a lymphectomy 5 years ago. Apparently my recent upsurge in exercise has caused it to become a real issue. So from now on I get to wear a compression sleeve. The doctor ordered me to take it easy until my recheck on Tuesday. He means knock off the exercise walks. I am on Vicodin because the pain was so excruciating I was sweating from it and close to vomiting. So. I will completely lay off exercise today and tomorrow and maybe try stationary bike on Sunday. Since holding onto the handlebars will keep my arms elevated and stationary, I expect that won't cause problems.

Lunch was buffet at Indian restaurant- no rice only 1 hand sized piece of naan, 3-4 oz. of chicken and lamb, loads of veggies- IDK how much butter.

It is what it is but it will be what I make it.

Smoochies!
