Oh nice Sharon! That sermon really helped you. ha ha! Now to stick to it, right? I make a rule, but don't keep it. Wish I could.

ok - Weigh-In 187, lost one of those pounds I gained. Didn't eat at kfc like Carl wanted to. We ended up going to Sweet Tomatoes with some friends. You know they only have veggies and soup there. I'm not a big fan of soup but I did eat lots of veggies. No dressing, I got where I can eat and enjoy salads without dressing.

Going with my daughter today. going to Panara's for a bagel, then shopping.

Have a good day everyone.

Aus, I have started eating "naked" salad, too. Amazing how our taste buds can be retrained.

Look up the calorie count on that bagel before you indulge!!

Good morning Sharon and Sandy
good job on the new low weigh Sharon that's a yippy situation...
and Sandy I am glad you are doing well too but be aware that some good fats are needed in our bodies, so a healthy dressing on vegies is OK unless you are getting your healthy fats somewhere else...

My breakfast today
1 slice pumpernickel toast
2 soft boiled eggs
3 oz orange
1 C black coffee

plan for the day

boneless skinless chicken breast
broccoli
either sweet potato or little red potato
side salad

2 C green tea with lemon

a plum

supper
2 oz pistachios
greek yogurt
strawberries
blueberries
honey
a bit of gg crunchy pecan cereal

that's the plan for today
yesterday I deviated from plan with 1 slice banana bread and a few cashews kind messed up // gotta do better today

Good morning, everyone.
Weight is up after a bad weekend at 287.0. I am sure it'll come down a bit after using the bathroom and pounding the water over the next couple days.

Breakfast- banana

Lunch will be 1 1/2 C of a concoction of wheat pasta, chicken and lots of veggies w 1/4 of melted cheese.

Going out to a movie and dinner (an actual DATE with Will) so dinner will be steamed Chinese food without the rice.

Gonna go out next to a favorite local park and walk about 45 minutes. Need some "outdoor solitude" time to regroup.

Everybody have a really good day.
Rachael...under construction.

Breakfast - Left over half hamburger from the night before.
Lunch - Beef stew
Dinner - Chicken pasta of some sort

Another crazy weekend. Not quite as active as last, but still pretty up there.

Friday we bowling with friends and then went to a get together that last till the early morning hours. I don't think that i sat down the entire night.

Saturday i went to a fair and walked around for about 4 hours

Sunday we went out to the dessert to go shooting. That was tons of fun. But i blew an ear drum

So all in all, i was on my feet all weekend

lunch was
grilled chicken
brown rice

peach

1 oz semisweet chocolate

even a little exertion cranks up the arm pain, but it is visibly smaller. hoping for more improvement tomorrow. I requested a blood test order from my doc today so only a couple of days til I get my labs back and see if this effort has improved my numbers.

Love, to all

Everyone's doing pretty good on tracking food and some new numbers on the scale. Calories are in line. Maybe add some greens if you haven't. They don't increase calories. And so beneficial packed with nutrition

Hi Kathy I have been noticing you rarely eat any green vegies
they are full of nutrition and low in calories lots of fiber too .
is there any reason you don;t include any green vegies ?

Judy I normally do, it's been broccoli lately if you've noticed. I like green veggies and in my normal life had a salad and a green veggie most nights with dinner but I guess now I just begrudge the dressing calories. Thanks for pointing it out and I'll be more mindful..

Kathy, do you like 'ranch dressing? I found that Hidden Valley has a LARGE 8 oz container of it's ranch making powder. I only use what I need, can add some to a small pour bottle with a little skim milk, a little vinegar and a little ff plain yogurt(for thickness). It makes a nice lower cal dressing which is "to my taste" , fresh and only as much as I need.
For dipping finger veggies, I just add a little of the powder to plain ff yogurt.
