Rainbow Challenge thurs Sept 26

Good Morning
I hope you all have taken the Idea of eating a rainbow of colorful fruits and vegies into your eating plan ..

todays rainbow
is red and orange so far

1/2 C bran flakes
1/3 C heart to heart
1/2 C ff milk
2 oz orange *
3.1 oz strawberries*

1 C black coffee

I haven't had brkfs
so i'm just going to get something here like a plum & cantaloupe
had the coffee

so orange and purple

lunch: green salad spring mix, red tomatoes, green asparagus

Dinner: don't know was going to roast the veggies that I have including parsnips yum yum I put a few drops of balsamic vinegar on them (the vinegar is aged some- s/b able to get at store)

Haven't been that low in a long long time.

Brkfst - Red- apple, coffee

Lunch around 2 will be - Green-broccoli; yellow & orange carrots; white cauliflower; red tomatoe; white fish.

That's all I k now so far.
AusGram -SW - 194; CW -188; GW -150 for now, will lower that WHEN I reach it.

My weight is back up at 211.2

I have been craving salt lately. I will see if that is the only problem by avoiding it for a few days.

Oatmeal and blackberries
apple
walnuts
homemade chicken barley and corn soup
10 grams of Snickers bar (1/5 of a small bar)

My rainbow so far is:
purple, red, orange, yellow and green

I'll have some blueberries later.

Aus, you can win the race my weight will go up today. I ate some cookies after lunch, ughh, they are in the dead color wheel.

Dinner

Large porkchop with onions * white*
1.33 C cooked spinach * green *
Baked beans in tomato sauce *red*


Salad

1.5 C mixed greens *green * * purple*
red onion * red *
yellow bell pepper * yellow ** red*
radish * red *
Tomato *Red *
1 Tablespoon each robusto dressing and wine vinegar

3,6 oz Plum * purple*

2 C green tea with fresh lemon * yellow *

I am at 1654 calories. Yikes. Got to do better tomorrow.

Okay, so today's rainbow is pretty good. But also, some of the food i[a> am eating isn't...


Breakfast- Green, Orange and Yellow.
I had a smoothie with Mango, Banana, Kiwi, Pineapple
BUT, i[a> also had a chicken burrito.


Lunch- Green, Purple, Blue and Red
I had a salad with Roman Lettuce, Raspberries[a> , Blue Berries, Black Berries, Strawberries with a Berry Vinegar[a> Dressing[a> .
BUT I also had a Lobster Bisque[a> and a slice of French[a> bread.


I have not had dinner yet. And on top of all of that, i[a> have had 2 small bags of chips. Oh, and a red bull.....


I think i[a> might be trying to comfort myself with food, and i[a> really need to stop. I have gain 4 pound back of the 5 i[a> lost from the challenge. It is a bit upsetting.

Rainbow today

Red - 5 cherry tomatoes, 6 cherries

Orange - 1 clementine, 3 peach slices, 8 baby carrots

Green - 3/4 c broccoli

Blue - handful of blueberries

Violet - 4 oz purple grape juice

White - 1 banana, 2 dates

It's really good that Judy has us thinking about this. I wasn't so mindful before. I was counting calories, not colors.
