    Good morning
    I hope you all are working hard to eat a rainbow

    My brealfast had the usual

    1/2 C bran flakes
    1/2 C fat free mil
    1/3 C heart to heart
    3.1 oz strawberries* red*
    3.8 oz orange *orange*
    a spinkle of cinnamon

    Breakfast
    1 c Honey bunches of Oats w/Almonds
    1 c ff Milk
    1 banana
    1 small orange

    Lunch
    lettuce spinach ff salad dressing red and green apple slices light Peach yogurt

    Dinner
    Grilled chicken breast
    salad
    1 c low fat cottage cheese w/6 pineapple chucks in juice
    1 sm piece of bread

    lots of walking today having Jeep serviced and expected time about 1 1/2 hours so gonna make hubby go walking with me HEHEHE

    I hope everyone has a GREAT weekend. I'll be with grandbabies all weekend so probably won't be back on here until Monday. Think positive we all need a lot of prayers and positive energy to come our way. HUGGS Jean

    pink lady apple in the microwave with cinnamon yum

    Breakfast- Orange and Yellow. One Banana and one orange.
    I am not sure what i would like for lunch or dinner yet...

    I burned TONS of calories at physical therapy today!!
    Rode the bike for 1.5 miles and did an hour of other random exercise and stretches. I feel much better today then i have been the last couple of days.

    Hey Mardee that's great about all the exercise. I'm confused because in a recent post you wrote that due to your hip condition you aren't supposed to do any exercising right now?

    Baby steps, to a healthy lifestyle change. When you change your thoughts you will then change your weight. Getting healthy is about progress, not perfection.

    For the most part, yes.

    The only time i am allowed to do physical activity is when in the presents of a doctor. Even then, absolutely NO impact exercise.

    At this point they are just trying to get me ready for surgery. My doctor said that the stronger my hip is going into the surgery, the faster i will recover.

    So i rode the bike for 1.5 miles and then after that it was all lying on my back exercises such as leg lifts and things like that. No running or jumping jacks yet

    I have been bust today so most of my rainbow come from Subway.
    Breakfast: oatmeal and apple(red)

    Lunch - Subway Turkey on wheat (veggies were spinach, pepper, olives and onion. (green and white)

    Dinner will be a Subway salad w double chicken, spinach, peppers, onion, pickle and olive (green and white)

    Snack will be an orange.

    breakfast was (red and orange)
    mid morning prune ( purple)

    dinner


    3,8 oz boneless skinless chicken breast
    3.6 oz sweet potato baked ( orange)
    Brussel sprouts with garlic ( green and white)

    Salad
    Mixed greens (green ) (purple)
    red onion ( red)
    radish ( red )
    !/4 bell pepper (yellow)
    1/4 avocado (green )
    Tomato ( red )
    robusto dressing and wine vinegar

    2 c green tea with lemon ( Yellow)

    apple (red)
    1.1 oz peanut butter

    soon I will make my yogurt
    it will have strawberries blueberries ( red and Blue )

    a little chia seed in that yogurt as well as honey
    I should also have pistachio nuts they don't count in my rainbow But I think I have it covered heavy on red

    Red - red onion slices, cherries, 5 cherry tomatoes

    Orange - 1/2 sweet potato, 1 clementine, 2 peach slices, 8 baby carrots

    Blue - handful of blueberries

    Violet - 4 oz purple grape juice

    White - 1 banana
