    Good morning ladies are you all still making rainbow choices ?

    weigh in 151.5

    breakfast

    2.7 oz orange orange
    4 oz strawberries red
    1/2 Cup bran flakes
    1/4 C each heart to heart and GG crunchy pecan
    1/2 C ff milk
    1 C black coffee

    Not sure about dinner have to shop today to buy food fr the weekend

    as always there will be a protein source a generous green vegie some sort of potato or rice in small amount and the side salad

    Good morning, Judy. I haven't exactly been keeping the rainbow score, but I'm trying to keep my nutrition at a high level.

    Breakfast: 1/2 C. old fashioned oatmeal, blueberries, walnuts, ff milk and coffee
    Lunch and dinner not planned yet. Have to do some things for my sister and do some grocery shopping for me later. There will be dark green veggies and a protein as well. Am thinking a potato sounds good as well.

    I have been re-reading "Why We Get Fat" by Gary Taubes. It has made me realize that my carb intake has been inching up. So I will be very gradually cutting that down and monitoring my blood sugar closely.

    crab cake
    sugar snap peas GREEN

    32 grams of carbs already. Or 2 diabetic servings.

    Blood glucose 88 Great!
    1/2 apple
    1 oz. of walnuts

    I pop a walnut half in my mouth and then take a bite of apple. It's kind of like apple cobbler. Yummy!

    Dinner
    4.6 oz roasted Chicken breast
    2.2 oz red potato red
    1 C green beans from fresh green
    1/2 pat of butter
    side salad

    1 1/2 C mixed greens green and purple
    thin slice red onion red
    1/4 bell pepper yellow yellow
    1 radish red
    1 tomato red
    3 slice cuke green

    2 C green tea with lemon wedge yellow

    1/3 Slice banana bread it is all gone now no more temptation
    5 oz apple
    1 1/2 T peanut butter


    that it so far

    took a walk after shopping today and good news the spot on my hubbys forehead is non cancerous.. that's good news for us

    1/3 C FF greek yogurt
    2/3 C raspberries red
    1/2 T honey

    4 oz pomegranate seeds red

    1 C cantaloupe yellow orange
    1 oz mangos dried
    2 prunes blue purple
    1 square dark chocolate 85%


    that's how the day ended

    Sorry I missed tallying my foods and colors Friday. My son came home for fall break and I've been even busier, but it's a very fun busy! Love reconnecting with him. Shopping and cooking again tomorrow! I've had red apple, yellow banana, red cherries, green peas, red strawberries, and too many carbs in processed grains and too few proteins and my sleep has been not quite enough. Need to increase vegetables of every color and keep up with my exercising. Gained, lost same 2 pounds. Listening to mike Shannon on kmox narrate the cardinals playing game 1 against the dodgers, extra innings after midnight. Come on cards! Go...
