    The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

    Hi Helene. Today is my intentional "off day" as I did my exercise DVD on Tues and Wed. and walked for 45 minutes on hills yesterday. My knees and feet were feeling it (new shoes) and I need a break. I just wanted to check in though.Will do the DVD this weekend from the group home. Have a good day!

    I've got a 15 minute yoga mini-class this morning and this evening I'll be going to Zumba class. I'll let you know how much of the class I manage to make it through... My goal is 20 minutes, so we'll see.

    Started to think about exercise then I got lost in JD's Eliot quotation. It was a nice moment. More fun than exercise! I will try to do some today, sigh.

    I walked the dog briefly before work. Plan to get in at least a 30 min. walk with her this afternoon. Not sure how long she can go yet. I'll pick her up if need be - she's only 8 lbs.

    Update decided to do the weight lifting and walk tomorrow maybe the snow will melt and I can see where the ice is I don't like to walk when I know under that skimmer of snow lurks ice

    Walked one and a half miles (I traced out my route online) at a brisk pace for 30 minutes. I haven't walked that long or far in one stretch for quite some time. I know that my legs will be a little sore tomorrow morning. I'm glad that we are doing this exercise challenge. I want to be accountable to yall. I feel like I haven't had problems with the food part of challenges, but I never really get up and MOVE. I have three dogs and any one of them (or even my parent's dog) would LOVE to go on a walk. Automatic exercise buddies. Poor Pepper. She wasn't used to walking for so long either - she was getting pretty tired by the end. She's not out of shape or fat at all - she just isn't used to it either

    Today:
    20 mins on the elliptical before lunch
    Another 10 after dinner
    (Idk if you count this but I load the wood stove couple times a day its sorta my natural weight lifting program)(15 mins total)
    I had to feed w/ dad today (couple steers and a horse) basically carrying feed buckets back and forth took like 10 mins tops

    I didn't know this was a separate post then from our Rainbow one. I will never walk that long..1 hour? wow. As for doing exercises other then walking, that's out too. I do 5 leg lifts, on each leg while I'm in the bathtub and that all the extra I can do, so I'm a flunkie before I even start. Ha.
    AusGram -SW - 194; CW -185; GW -150 for now, will lower that WHEN I reach it.

    Don't live life comparing yourself to everyone else.
