    Rainbow Challenge Monday January 13 2014

    Good morning !
    How is your rainbow shaping up ?
    as usual mine has Red and Orange leading the day


    weigh in surprise 152.5
    I overate last night and expected a huge jump in the scale so that must have been real hunger I was feeling .


    Breakfast
    2.1 oz strawberries
    3.4 oz orange
    1/2 C bran flakes
    1/3 c heart to heart
    1/2 c ff milk
    1 C black coffee




    Dinner plans


    Pork chop with onions
    baked potato with ff sour cream
    brussel sprouts
    side salad has all the colors in it




    snack plan Apple with peanut butter


    Maybe a cup of hot chocolate today
    My usual yogurt for evening meal
    with berries
    If I am still hungry will make some air popped popcorn
    there should also be pistachios in here someplace too
    the reason for this rainbow challenge is to encourage you to eat a variety of vegies and fruits in order to fill you without feeling deprived there is a lot of great nutrients with small amounts of calories in these things

    Morning everyone. Bad start to the week.

    Went out to the car to leave for work and someone had driven by at some point in time and smashed out one of the back windows.

    Our insurance is really good, so I'm not worried about it. It's just annoying and sad.

    Good morning Ladies,


    Had tea
    Will have oatmeal after my exercises.
    When shopping for fruits and vegies so I'm ready for the week
    Also got the Kashi 8% protein cereal and Kinoa sead.


    Lunch will be salad and salmon


    dinner will be tilapia and bok shoy carotts and parshnip.


    Spelling this morning is bad sorry.

    Howdy all! Week two of the new me is here. I got 3.2 lbs of the old me off last week. Hallelujah!

    Breakfast - English muffin, peach butter, 2 clementines, 2 cups Roma.

    The Plan for today-

    Lunch - ? Maybe some of that black bean soup I drove to New Haven to get yesterday. Or maybe pea soup.

    Dinner - hamburger patty, 1/2 sweet potato, broccoli, salad.

    Rainbow - I mean breakfast - 1/2 cup fresh pineapple, 1 cup of joe w/c/s

    Going to town today to be with my daughter. For lunch we will go to a Korean reasturant. They have good healthy food there. Not sure what I will call it cause it has some weird names, but I will come up with something. Ha.

    Kali, how awful that someone would do that to your car. These vandals think it's funny. I wish they would all get caught.
    AusGram -SW - 194; CW -185; GW -150 for now, will lower that WHEN I reach it.

    Weight is up after the weekend at 289. I was thinking about what Kathy said about not eating enough of the good stuff. Next weekend, I will go in early and go shopping for my own meals...like I would eat at home...and see if that makes a difference. I need to make my meal planning at the group home a priority.

    Breakfast was diced apple w oatmeal.

    Lunch will be brown rice, diced tomatoes (Rotel) and beans. I am going to add a hot dog sliced up to the concoction,

    Dinner will be honey mustard chicken, sweet potatoes and spinach.

    I changed My mind no oatmeal this morning

    You are doing all the right things, just have to be a bit more constant. But I see that you are planning to buy you're own meals that is great . Honey mustard chicken sounds good Great Idea I will try to find a recipe.

    Well, luckily, my mother didn't need to go anywhere today so I just borrowed her car for the day. I'll take car of the mess and call the cops, insurance, etc. when I get home from work. I think that it's sad that people feel the need to do things like that.
