I think stretching sounds like a good idea today. I want to do some PT exercises too. I'd like to get in 20-30 minutes most days of the week.

Take right arm and bring your right hand to your left shoulder then take your left arm and bring ileft hand to your your right shoulder then hold on tight .


Here is my hug for the day.


I actually did 1 and a half hour of exercise today. did floor exercises and weights and did 30 minutes of bicycle without any tention. I love TV so why not do both.


I decided to do easy exercises and bring up intensity gradually will see if that work.

I took a 15 mins. walk outdoors it was about 50 here today or chillier. I'm going to try & convince myself that I need to do my p.t.

If I do my p.t. now at 7:20 p. then I can ice and it would help with the pain. If I don't do them I will hurt worse tomorrow most possibly. I'm def. going to the pool tomorrow and I know that will help me.
I'm having a hard time of envisioning me getting down on thez floor cuz i'm about a 6-7 pain level and its sohard with me having the pain to get down and get back up is even harder.

O heck i'll just go do it in bed even tho they're not as effective that way.
now i'm just being lazy. I guess i'll be lazy and use some ice.

tomorrow s/b 45 min. of pool p.t. and that will make me feel a lot better I pray. Kathy do you do this kinda thought process?

well now everyone knows i'm lazy sometimes.... *blush*

Ho gosh Tweety, lazy is my middle name. It is a struggle everyday to do anything. So right now like you say is a mental process. And I just do it.


I wish it would be automatic. But I'm sure that all the ladies that have achived there goals, could tell us how they made it every day.


I have not gone to a physio yet. Wating for the cash flow to be a bit better. Next month will be better.


6 - 7 pain that is not good at all. do you have pain medication? I have anti-inflamatory and it helps so it is 2-3
exellent for me.

Yes Tweety I go through the same process! And I can't take anti-inflammatories! I agonize about getting down on the floor and I try to exercise late so I can ice and then get off my feet for the day. I know 2 knee replacements are in my future but I need to get my weight down if I have a brain in my head, which I wonder about some times when I get on the scale.

Kathy, there are some natural supplements that have anti-inflammatoy properties - tumeric, ginger which you can get in capsul form at Wal-Mart. My sister has discovered that if she eats about a half cup of pineapple a day it really helps her knees. The ingredient in the pineapple is called bromelain and it can be purchased in capsul form also. Fish oil and hyluronic (spelling) acid are also helpful, I so want you to feel better and have less pain. I know what being in constant pain is like - it ain't no fun and will stress you out too.
