Heartburn or acid reflux

I started having burning in the chest a few months back. I took an over the counter medicine for awhile. Lately I have been drinking an 8 oz glass of water with 1 to 2 tsps of apple cider vinegar, it is suppose to help.

The last couple of days when I take a deep breath it feels really tight in the chest area, down the middle. I don't know if this is serious or not. Is that the was acid relux works? I am going to make an appointment to see the doctor.

yes, these are signs of acid reflux. Your doctor will likely prescribe a PPI for your symptoms or refer you to a GI specialist.

You should also ask to get tested for the H. Plyori.
