    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

I have had Crohns disease for the past 5 and a half long years. I was in remission for 2 and a half years but been flaring up for 2 months now. I started the SCD today and hoping to see results very soon. I made gluten free belgium waffles and a smoothie with homemade yogurt, strawberries, and banana. Who has tried the Specific Carbohydrate diet? How does it work for you? I borrowed the book Breaking the Vicious Cycle at the library today and it has great recipes in it. I also got a few gluten free cookbooks and a Autism cookbook thats Gluten and Dairy free. I hope to see results soon. ~Hannah

Hi Hannah, I have not ever had a problem with the foods I eat and Crohn's but I know there are people with that problem. I want to invite you to join our Crohn's and Colitis community here on Web MD. We have several people who are on gluten free and can give you some hints and tips on diet. I hope that you can find something that can put you back in remission. Take good care, Jeaneau
