I know that this is weird to post, but I think I may have eaten a live maggot from some old food that I had in the pantry.

If I did actually swallow a live maggot whole, are there any serious health consequences that I should worry about? Please help. Very worried and disgusted here.

- very worried

some cheeses have cheese worms that people eat.

i've seen chocolate covered grasshoppers, and chocolate covered ants in Bloomingdales, of all places!

good luck!
