Collitis?

An_243201 posted:
Recurring problem three times now (about a month apart). Starts with a feeling of bloating and belching. Continues to nausea, vomiting and stomach pain. First two times, ran its course in about 24-36 hours total bed time. Last time had to go to emergency room, loaded up with antibiotics, anti nausea, medicines. Original diagnosis documented as Colitis, but this is more pronounced in upper abdomen. Xrays, CTscans, and blood work don't show anything obvious. Thoughts anyone, this is really making life miserable for a retiree.
