    throat streatch for swallowing

    hello all i have a question i hope someone might be able to help me with. I go threw upper GI's every few months for a swallowing problem. they thell me the rings don't want to open when i swallow food or fluids. i have them done about every couple of weeks to every few months. i have asked the Dr. if there is anything else to do and all i get told one day i might not have to anymore.. it's been 3 yrs. now
    well i hope someone might have something for me

    Mike_n_robin, are you talking about Schatzki rings? If so, have you been told you have reflux issues or another digestive condition?

    yes i belive that is what it is called and yes i have GERD and a hianal herrnia. i also have/had diverticolotus .. went threw the bowel reduction a few months ago...
