had gallbladder surgery in november 2011, still having same symptoms. have had numerous post test, find nothing. still have diaherra, pain right side upper abdomen, fatigue,loss of appettite, have diabeties. anyone had this problem?

Bigmoma, a lot of people unfortunately experience what you're going through and the cause isn't always easily uncovered. The diarrhea could be due to bile 'dumping' which is the unregulated release of bile into the duodenum at times other than when food is present. Have you considered trying some bile binding resins such as questran or other? Have you tried following a low fat diet? Any stones or sludge found lodged within the common bile duct following the surgery via MRCP or other tests? Have you tried some specific anti-spasm meds or calcium-channel blockers that can be effective for smooth muscle spasms?
