gurgling intestines and gas

A few days ago I had a piece of my b-day cake, but with extra frosting. A couple hours later I had to use the bathroom urgently. I went and all seemed fine except for unusaully excessive gas. The rest of the day I was fine except the gas did not go away. The next day I had a starbucks frap ( i never eat these). Same thing. Now that both should be out of my system, I am still experiencing gurgling intestines and gas and a "punched" feeling in my stomach. My insides also feel wrenched. No nausea or vomiting. Could this be a mild virus or something eles and will it go away in a few days?
