Stomach problems, Dr's guessing.

Starting in April I had diarrhea about 2 hours after eating. It would usually be accompanied with flushness and nausea. I had a full day of it and then had it every morning for about a week. First doctor said it was a a virus that was taking its time clearing out.

I had random diarrhea here and there after that. Then 2 weeks ago I had a severe round of diarrhea and vomiting after drinking a lot of dairy. I ended up in the emergency room because I was having trouble breathing. They gave me zofran and valium, called it a stomach bug and an anxiety attack.

I started seeing my regular Dr and he thought it could be my gallbladder (family history) or "bad luck". He ruled out IBS due to the vomiting and ruled out stomach ulcer's because it isn't all the time. He ordered an ultrasound to check my gallbladder, it came back normal.

I had another day of diarrhea yesterday and went back to see my regular Dr. He gave me medication for IBS (a sedative), and ordered an upper GI and recommended prilosec. I have an appointment with a GI the end of the month.

Any ideas? I still think it is something like my gallbladder, but my Dr seems to have ruled this out. I am a 29 year old female and already taking lexapro for depression following a miscarriage.
