I'm 62 yr old male with hiatal hernia & acid reflux. After being away from home a few days and sitting mostly on the way home after eat half of a light meal, I suddenly felt extremely painfully full. The food seemed to stay in my chest after 2 hours I vomited everything I ate undigested. This once before about 6 mo. ago.

What could cause this and how can I prevent this??

I take 2 -20mg omeprazole daily for acid reflux. In times of stress, tension, certain work activity I have a surge of stomach acid and back spasms.

Is there anything I can do to supplement the omeprazole in these times for relief??
