Good luck with your appt. I hope you find the cause soon. I know how intolerable what you are going through can be.
I am scared with anything I eat, or not eat. I have started explaining it to him....but not in detail. My worst fear is in the bedroom. As expected, I start to get gas....at the worst possible time...............well, I'm not even going to get into this. Before I see, go out with my boyfriend, I take a suppository, 2 or three alka-selzers, Gas-X, and chewable tums. Then I try to relax, meditate. Yes, this helps somewhat, but isn't this ridiculous ? This is ruining my love/sex life. Maybe there is a dating site for people with IBS, at least we would understand....and just stay home, share the bathroom. Yes, I'm joking, but I don't know what else to do.
Dd you have back pain during your pregnancy?
I have logged the food I ate when the symptoms present themselves, but there seems to be no relevance. I take a lot of supplements so I googled all of them and discontinued taking the ones that had these side effects. Will reintroduce them one at a time for a few days to see if they're the cause. In the meantime the Dr. told me to take Omeprazole 20 mg--can get it over the counter. I had no symptoms for 5 days but they have returned but much milder.
