Had bad pains since birth mainly after eating or drinking. Had a Gi series and was told that the barium is having trouble passing through small intestine. Had about 4 upper scopes and gall bladder test. What does it mean to have the barium not pass through small intestine properly? Why wont doctors do a colonoscopy since the 7 year olds dad and uncle have chrons and paw paw died with stomache cancer. 7 years, many test, and 3 doctors is long enough for this lil boy. Any advice???

A colonoscopy does not involve either the small intestine nor the stomach.
