    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

I have a sliding hiatal hernia, my stomach slides through gets squeezed and my ulcers are kept open and bleeding. In addition my stomach pushes against my heart when this happens and I have all of the symptoms of an heart attack.
I have a diverticulum above my stomach in my esophagus.
This occured in 1967, in Vietnam air crash. When younger is was bad enough to be hospitalized. At that time if I kept my weight down to 145 lbs or less it helped. Today at 66 years old, my weight is 185 lbs., and I can't exercise to loose weight and cannot loose weight due to many other physical disabilities.
The VA rated me 10% for this problem so they won't help.
    What should I do?
