I have had yellow stools for about 3 months now. Always yellow. I have upper right quadrant pain...lower/mid right back pain...feels muscular. also pain in my lower righ abdomen. I went to the er they did a bunch of tests and couldn't find anything wrong. Do they test for cancer when they take blood at the er? He said I was healthy. Could this be from my back being messed up? Maybe from my spine causing the muscles to be out of whack causing pressure somewhere? I feel fine other wise. This all started when I started wearing heals. I got a new job and I wore heals for a week. But that was 3 months ago..I am going to see a gastroentologist in January, but this yellow stool worrries me.

I have no idea... I would go see another specialist if yours is not helping you because that does not sound normal at all.

Lisa, some of the symptoms sound like you may be having a problem with your gallbladder. Have you asked your doc if he's considered that? Testing for that condition would include a gallbladder ultrasound and HIDA scan with CCK injection along with a blood test that checks your liver and pancreatic enzyme levels.
You may want to consider following a low fat diet to see if that helps. For some with gallbladder issues it does help.

The doctor said all those things look good. Ive had tests at the doctors office for those things too...they said everything is working normal. I'm thinking its my back somehow.
