What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Alcohol and Constipation?'s

Been dealing with constipation for awhile now after trying all sorts of different things and pretty much narrowed it down to alcohol. Anytime I drink more than 2 drinks I become constipated I can feel it in my lower left side as soon as I wake up the next morning. This happens even if I drink a few bottles a water before consuming alcohol. My mother had ulcerative colitis and had to have her intestines removed when she was younger. I know alcohol dehydrates you but this seems a little extreme almost feel like my intestines get inflamed or something. Any ideas?
