Can I exercise with a Hiatal Hernia?

I have been diagnosed with: GERD, Acid Reflux, IBS, weak stomach valve and a hiatal hernia (upper GI 3 months ago). I am still trying to find out if I can exercise with the Hiatal Hernia. Push ups and cruches? Called my doctor and the nurse was going to get back with me but did not. I have been exercising since 12 years old.

You probably can exercise, but anything like crunches that push your stomach upward may result in refluxing acid into your esophagus.
