    Headaches related to bowels?
    nefan26 posted:

I am a 33 year old male that is in good health. About once a month I get what I would call primarily a sinus headache. About an hour or two after the onset of the headache, I start having bowel movements -- normal size, nothing abnormal. This has happened for quite awhile.

The crazy thing is I usually have about 5-7 bowel movements over the course of about 5 or 6 hours, maintaining the headache throughout. Finally the headache goes away. From time to time I'll need to blow my noise and occasionally I have sinus drainage.

I typically have a bowel movement once a day normally. The only I thing I can think of is the headache is related to me being "backed up?" I guess I could give myself an enema every couple of weeks to try to avoid the issue, but I just can't understand why since I go to the bathroom regularly I'm getting this in the first place.

Does anyone have any similar experiences?
