    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

    Center of chest pain

For 3months have been having pain in the middle of my chest, sometimes just continuous and sometimes off and on. It just comes out of nowhere, I don't even have to eat anything @ all and it just comes on, @ times it can feel like I am having a heart attack. I do have coronary artery disease, have had 2 angiograms,Mir is not my heart. I have had an endoscopy which didn't show Gerd or any esophagus problems, it did show where my food is not digesting properly. I was put on a medication called reglan which helped a little, but I believe it caused me to have anxiety attack. I seem to keep getting tossed from dr. To dr.

What do you mean with your words 'where my food is not digesting properly?'

Chest pain can also be due to esophageal spasms. They result in many describing it as a heart attack.
