Hi all!
I m 22 years old and for the pass 7 months I am getting chest pains on regular basis feeling everyday like having something wrong to me. On two occasions I ran to emergency room. Because of this freagging pain I have panic attack and anxiety daily .it seems really hard sometimes. Besides that I left smoking 4 months back.
I went to a med specialist he diagnosed me with dyspepsia then GERD and gave me pantoprazole ... i had plenty of ECGs, every time they were normal but the pain never seems to stop. happens every day. Cannot understand why it is so severe and what is the core problem. Is it GERD/Heart burn, Gall stone, any thing else,

Pain is accompanied by gas, bloated stomach, irritable bowl movement in intervals, pain in left armpit and shoulder, neck pain. and whole lot of anxiety which is really freaking me out.
Sometimes I feel like I have needles in my chest. I really want to know what is wrong and what is the problem.

So the point of all this is I have become an anxiety patient also each time I have pain in my chest and each day I panic... Any one here have had any symptoms common with mine?? Any help would be highly appreciated

Hello Smash,

You have the same symptoms I have been experiencing. On March 28th. My husband called the EMT's to take me to the hospital. I was sure I was having a heart attack. (I to suffer from extreme anxiety as well). After a two day stay they ran every test imaginable for my heart. (I'm a 49 year old female). All those tests turned out fine. They sent me home over the weekend with a dose of morphine before we left. Once the morphine wore off, the pain was once again unbearable. I was sure they missed something and almost went back that Sunday. Decided I would call my doctor first thing Monday morning.

My visit on Monday was a great relief. He tested my blood for a bacteria called H Pylori. Short for Helicobacter Pylori. It came back positive. It mimics most of the symptoms we both were are having. Google it. It is a bacteria that most of us have in our stomachs. Requires 2 antibiotics and a ppi stomach pill. For me, I think the H Pylori has caused a stomach ulcer. So we are now working on scheduling and EDG.

Maybe they have already figured it out for you since this post is 2 weeks old. If not, just request a test for H Pylori. Hope this helps. I'll put this on my watchlist. Be well!
